:come into Dr Love's little world:
1) Verbal/Physical Abuse
2) Money
3) Someone new in the relationship (may not be a third party)
4) Sex (High on men's list and low on women's)
5) matters on Children
It is funny how high money is ranked so high... As relationships move from getting together, to getting married... Money plays a more and more important role in their life... With the world women crying out for equality for sexes, there are still a large percentage of women who thinks their bf or other half, should pay for meals, movie tics, and soon, items for marriage will follows... This is sometimes the root of arguments and disagreements... I think in SG, the abuse portion is not tat high as in overseas, where booze is usually the problem of abuse. In SG, pple tends to be more rationale with things, though I did hear a few instances where the female half is the abusive one...
Back to the title topic... I think it is really true... Mainly becos when women get together with men, they tend to get together thinking that he WILL be the one... rather than he MIGHT be the one... and in the process, they try to get the guy to do things which they expect of their dream guy... and hoping they will get used to doing those things...
On the other hand, men usually end up accepting the girl they choose... But hope tat they are not influenced to change over the many years of relationship... Not influenced by Tai Tais, by frens ard them...
But as I mentioned in many of my post, changes are inevitable in any relationship, or anything... it is usually how we manage the change.... To accept it, to moderate it, or to reject it... those are the choices we need to make day in day out, not only in relationships but in almost every situation we may find ourselves in...
This is one of those songs I keep hearing on radio and slowly loving it... Enjoy

In the last post, I mentioned abt the big 4 and their fans' reaction. This time, I am going to talk abt Liverpool.
His explanation for 1 forward is that he expect the opponents to defend deep, and want to pull the opponents out to create space for Gerrard to exploit. But what is the point of space when u hv only 1 person to aim for?
Pls Hicks, Gilliet, sack Rafa, sell Sissoko, Aurelio and Kuyt, get a decent striker like Anelka !!!
Some time ago, I really dunno why this is so... I mean, they have a fantastic manager, great players and still counting, but what is wrong with them? In recent few years, Chelsea has taken over that place of most hated for a while... And I think that is largely due to certain "special one" who always irritate other clubs' fans by saying nasty things... and of coz, with their brand of effective but not so entertaining football... For me, I would like to categorise most hated by a few behaviours... here they are
1) Diving - Among the big fours, Man U and Chelsea are known to have the most "clever" divers in the EPL or even europe... Sometimes when there are NO contact, they fall as if a truck hit them... Man U has the famous Ronaldo to lead the pack, with Tevez following close behind... Chelsea, with a certain Ivory Coast striker named Drogba to lead the team in diving classes... Arsenal has a tendency to want to pass the ball into the net, giving them hardly any time to think abt how to get a penalty in the box or getting a player booked... Being a Pool fan, I shall not comment on them...
Winner : Man U
2) Surrounding and pressuring the Ref : This is a clear cut win by Chelsea... Ever since Jose took over, Chelsea has this new culture of pressuring the ref with a few "imitating players" surrounding him... Non of the big 4 comes close...
Winner : Chelsea
3) Unsportsmanship conduct : Man U will be the clear winner here... Judging by the number of times they are guilty of such conduct, from yst's match against Birmingham, to the trickery of getting players booked, or even kicking pple, they are ranked up there with the best of the old bad boys of Bolton Wanderers...
Winner : Man U
4) Over-Aggressive plays : As mentioned above, they tend to kick players with two footed tackles and stuff... This is esp true when they are losing or even not leading... This is clear in the previous matches where they lost, against Man City earlier in the season, and West Ham more recently... You can say that frustration runs in their head... But that is no excuse for you to try to break a fellow professional's legs...
Winner : Man U
Clearly, the answer is clear... With no disrespect to Man U, they are a great team, their football can be breath-taking sometimes, punishing opponents with every mistake they made... And they definitely know how to win "ugly"... However, being a club with so many fans, it is important to have proper role models... A club or player who teaches the correct values... As I have told everyone who went to TLK's hse, Ashton will have the right values if he follows his father's footsteps...
