Alright, 4 weeks and counting... down that is...
A well-dressed rich auntie came along and saw the queue (there was only 3 person in it). She went str to the shop (which is the front of the queue) and ask the Otak asst if that is the queue. Naturally they said YES. She then ask of the price of the small otak which cost 40 cents each. Den she asked the shop keeper if she need to queue, the asst looked at her and told her the queue is all the way to the back. She passsed a comment, "so long ah". Then she said the bigger otaks and ask if she buy that, does she need to queue? the asst said no one had ordered that yet, so she can skip the queue. (the asst asked a few persons at the front of the queue to get orders). When she asked how much, they told her it's $1.20. She gave a "wah, so expensive" face and went on to check with the Gracie (who is 2nd in the queue) and ask her how many she is buying. Gracie told her 10, when it comes to the 1st lady in the queue, she said "30" !! So she tried to ask the shop keeper if she can skip the queue, the asst told her, the queue is there, pls queue. Then she LL got to queue.
Frankly, from the rich people I have known from all walks of life... There are some bad ones, but mostly are good and nice people. I mean, there is only 3 person in the queue, just wait for a while. Anyway, fyi, Gracie and I waited abt 15 min for the otak. Why do this auntie have to try all sorts of ways to skip the queue? She is not even those very old type, probably late 40s, early 50s. Does it mean that when u r rich u need not do the things which others do? KNS ah... all I can say this, Auntie, if you dun wan to queue, dun eat lo... !!!

It is funny how young girls or guys think. Especially those who are in a relationship... Last year, I posted an entry about 2-D... in character, in choosing bf esp...
Why do I say that? In my opinion, girls tend NOT to set targets for themselves... They tend to have the "see how it goes", or "follow the crowd" mentality... Mind you, I am not being a sexist here... But I think this is also one of the reasons why there are less successful business-woman than businessman... Guys on the other hand, sometimes are too "dreamy"... setting themselves too many targets... Most of them seems realistic... Just whether the guys are going towards them....
So how do you know what you want? I think a simpler way is to ask yourself the basic question, "What do you want to be when you are 30?" or any other age and so on... Then divide your answers into 2 categories, personal and work.... seriously, our life revolves into this two very conflicting but necessary sections... BUT, please do take into account what is your current situation now....
Another way is what I termed as the "next target" plan.... Firstly, look at your personal life, and ask yourself, "what is the next? and next? and next?" then fix a date to those milestones... I guess for work, it is pretty straight-forward... The difficult portion is probably love life. So, if you have a gf? What is next? DUH... of coz, it is marriage. So ask yourself, "Is your current gf the person you imagine to be living with you when you are married? when you have kids? when you are old? Is the current lifestyle you imagine with your wife?" If not, pls re-think on your relationship... If yes, make plans... I think a lot of people hesitate on marriage simply becos they hv the wrong concept... They think that in order for marriage to take place, they need to KNOW their partners inside-out... But that is not the case... Take note, MARRIAGE IS A JOURNEY OF UNDERSTANDING... so the only burning question is, do you WANT to understand this person?
